Dare to Play a Bigger Game
What a great honour it is to be your National President. When I think of others who have served before as your President, I realise the great responsibility that comes with this office.
In 2009 we face challenges unprecedented in our industry. The Global Economic Crisis is real and uncertain. Right now as a member of NSAA you demand good leadership and you want 2 important things:-
• Real strategies to build your business
• Real value for money from your membership
Our association must be financially strong enough to weather the financial storm, we must attract the great speaker talent so we can all reach higher, and we must deliver great programs that help each member to develop their own sustainable body of work.
My theme for 2009 is ....... “Dare to Play a Bigger Game ”
I chose this theme as I believe right now we have to do things we haven’t done before in our business ... to dare.
There are 3 ways we as your NSAA board can play a bigger game in 2009:-
- Dare to play a bigger game in promoting who the NSAA is to our market.
- Dare to play a bigger game in offering real benefits of membership.
- To play a bigger game in providing World Class Events and learning for our members.
I make a promise to you that your National Board will be working hard to deliver for you what you need to dare to play a bigger game . As your President, I will be visible and working with your Executive Officer to provide strategy and direction.
